Vincent Daumas
Vincent Daumas is a PhD student in History at the University of Rennes 2. His research is focused on mining and metallurgy techniques in the southern Andes (now Bolivia) in the 18th century. As part of his Masters on the cultural mediation of heritage he worked in particular with the Association de sauvegarde de l’ancienne mine de Locmaria-Berrien (Association for the preservation of abandoned mines) in Finistère, developing our understanding of the now defunct metallurgical techniques used in the Huelgoat-Poullaouen mines.
